Don't miss the Preview Days for our new Block Of The Month Club, January 7th - 10th!  You'll have your choice of 2 colorways, and the option of meeting on either the 3rd Thursday or 3rd Saturday of each month for your BOM.  You won't want to miss this!

Joan has 3 new quilting classes this quarter: 9-Patch Pizzazz, Mystery Quilt, and Where'd That 9-Patch Go?

Jennelle will continue with her very popular Heirloom Notebook Classes, and she has added a new Appliqué Technique Notebook class.  She has also added the following Heirloom Classes  to the schedule for 1st quarter 2009:  Heirloom Camisole & Serger Heirloom Gown.  Her much anticipated monthly Heirloom Quilting Blocks also starts in January.

Leigh Ann is now scheduling one-on-one training sessions for anyone who would like to rent time on the HandiQuilter.  So, if you're interested in this, please call the shop at 770 831-7990 and schedule an appointment.

We're happy to welcome Joyce and her two  Embroidery Club groups which will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Joyce has many years experience with machine embroidery and experience with many different machines, so it doesn't matter what type of machine or software you're using.  There's both a morning and an evening group for this club.  Sandra, our embroidery expert will be assisting Joyce during the meetings.    We will be sharing projects, ideas, resources and know-how.  If you are an embroiderer, you won't want to miss these!  The club is for both new and experienced embroiderers.  For more information, click on Embroidery Sew & Share Club .

If you're interested in classes for any of the software packages available today for embroidery, sewing and quilting, please let us know which software you're interested in, and we'll try to accomodate your needs.  And if you have questions about your software, check with either Sandra or Jeanne; chances are they'll be able to help you out......

HQ Sixteen Quilting Machine for Traditional Sit-Down Use

                            ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Our new HQ Sixteen Sit-Down Model arrives this week!

With a built-in hopping foot and large "M" class bobbin, this machine makes traditional quilting faster, easier and less strenuous. The 16" throat space allows up to six times the quiltable space compared to traditional sewing machines.

If you are into free motion quilting, thread-painting or other forms of fiber arts, you'll want to come in and give this baby a test-drive.
This machine has had rave reviews in the December 2008 issue of Quilting Arts magazine and similar magazines. (check out Lyric Kinard's July 4th post on her Blog at
